Sorting and Sifting...

My friend A-M popped in to help me fine tune this here blog. Who knew there's a ton of info to grasp when one ventures into blogland. Learning never stops, doesn't matter how old we are.
Well we set to like only women can and created miracles (after tea, cake and chatter of course).
Very nice mani there A-Me and I so want the ring!

Of course this set off a chain of events for yours truly because I realised my system left a bit to be desired if I was to become an efficient Miss and create posts in a timely fashion without trawling through squillions of pics. Hence over the last two days I've spent, oh about six hours sorting hundreds (felt like thousands) of photos into new folders...click...drag...click...delete...and so on until I had morphed into a robot.

Do you update your photo folders etc on a regular basis to enable easy blogging?
Must say I feel quite chuffed now it's organised, just wish I could be enthused to attack a pile of paperwork that's staring at moi.

But not right now. I need a drink!
xx

  5. Oh no Annie, I am hopeless. Every now and then I will write up some posts and then not use them or get distracted by something else. I always end up scratching around in circles at the last minute.
Perhaps you could do a post on your system. I would love some ideas.
A-M your mani is lovely. I went to a workshop on Change Management today and with all the deep thinking and reflection, managed to pick most of my nail polish off. Is is truely disgusting.

  7. hello Miss Annie

Crossed eyed I bet you are - you are wonderful for doing all of that - that is on one of those lists I "have to do".

The angel walking Miss AM - she is a dynamo indeed! Lordy help us when we all get together - it will sound like the chipmunks - all chattering away 99 to the dozen... :)

You are doing so well already and yey of yey's you are on twitter! So as the expression goes - "Lets get this party started".

have a wonderful night and get into that vino - you'll solve far more problems of the world with a few of those under your belt. :)

  8. Dear Annie, I am hopeless with the whole photos for blogging thing and yesterday had HUGE trouble getting the photos onto the blog which explains the very eccentric layout..I am afraid I just can't bear to spend all that time so adopt a slapdash approach - which ends up even more time consuming...

  9. Deb.. atm I feel my system is one of just bumbling along and hoping for the best. I need to categorise & file photos or I quickly lose the plot

Kathryn.. she is a sweetie and determined I 'get' modern technology bless her

Loulou.. laughing out loud re the chipmunks, imagine it. Have downed several soothing drinks :)

Blighty.. I admired that post and the arty method you chose to layout your pics and was thinking gee Blights is clever how did she do it!

Thanks everyone, I love reading your comments.

  10. Annie, your blog is beautifully designed. I need an A-M to help me too; I am pretty much computer illiterate and self-taught. Would like to change background colour but can't figure out how. No matter, I have a brilliant photo system: One folder called Blog. that's it!!!
