A Fabulicious Film... set in Paris

Just popping in to recommend you drop what you're doing guys and dolls and hot foot it to a cinema and partake of Woody Allen's latest offering 'Midnight in Paris'. Personally he is my favourite writer/director and his stories set in New York are marvellous, truly I believe my fascination with this city is due to his films.
Hmm I have NY on my mind lately.
Of course I will not divulge the plot and spoil your enjoyment but if you seriously adore all things Parisian...scenery, architecture, interiors and fashion then you will be a happy little movie goer.
My family visited Paris several years ago so I spent much of the film recognising landmarks and drooling.

Decided to gussy up a bit for sitting in the dark (as you do) and hit the cinema wearing my new OPI which is sensational.
An Affair in Red Square.
Don't you just love the quirky monikers this brand bestows on each shade?

Now if you see this movie then spill.... I need to hear if you adored it too !!
In fact I'm ready for a second viewing.

  3. Yes!! Midnight in Paris - I watched it on the plane on the way over here, and loved it too! Definitely want a second viewing myself. Woody Allen films are so excellent and evocative: when we first went to New York years ago, I was convinced I would turn into Diane Keaton as soon as I hit Fifth Avenue. Blame Woody for that fantasy ....

  6. Oh dear Annie, I'm embarrassed to admit I can't stand anything vaguely Woody Allen-ish. I'm sure you'll enjoy this movie, it's getting rave reviews. Maybe I should try & give Mr. A one last chance!

  7. Millie.. don't be embarrassed, mr A can sometimes ramble but not so in this film I thought. If for nothing else the scenes of Paris are delish and it was pure escapism for an hour and half x

  12. It just came out here last week too, I liked it but I was a bit disappointed by its lightness, I felt it didn't really go anywhere.
