Wednesday Wanderings

The Eiffel Tower
Paris
France

Paris has played on my mind of late, maybe due to the blogs with a delightful French flavour which I've been enjoying. Several years have passed since I was in this magical city staying with my family for a week in a La Marais apartment.
I have no idea when or if I'll return.

One can live in hope...

Altogether now... c'est Magnifique!

  1. Bonsoir Annie, there is no better travel pic than the Eiffel Tower! I love the view with the bridge in the foreground; a unique perspective I don't recall seeing before. You are such a good photographer! xxx

    1. Thanks Patricia, I have fun seeing things through a camera lens. Eiffel Tower's been down to death but I thought yesterday...what the heck!

    1. I've been twice G but reckon many trips are needed to see most of Paris. Hours need to be allocated for strolling and discovering don't you agree?

  4. Sigh, I love Paris too and haven't been back for years. I had to be dragged onto the plain with my nails on the tarmac last time I left! I just love the place! There really isn't anywhere else like it is there? Mxxx

    1. Hello M, thanks for popping in and commenting.
Paris is special and I feel like we have only scrapped the surface. As much as it's wonderful to head home after a trip some places are incredibly difficult to say goodbye to.

Isnt that what lifes all about.. Dreams.. I sometimes surf the internet and take myself to unknown places and paradise islands.. have a coffee or a brandy depending on the time of day. After a couple of hours.. i have travelled around the world...it feels good.

you will go back one day to Paris.. its a beautiful romantic city.

You asked me if Alentejo gets as hot as queensland. Yes it does. We have the hottest weather here. Its already started. Semi..N...d and in and out of the pool.. air con.. bright skies.. i love it. I dont know Queensland.. but Perth used to get hot too.
