Last week I was dangling my tooties over the side of a sail boat, gazing at sublime aqua hues.
Bliss..
Now I am home and instead of daydreaming while cruising the Whitsunday Islands, I am busy watching this go round and round as it churns through a mountain of washing.
Blah..
Back to reality!
Annie xx
... and welcome back to reality lovely! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteThanks A-Me!
DeleteOn a positive note you have a beautiful washing machine.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
Helenx
Your comment made me giggle Helen! It is a nice model.
DeleteWell you've got those feet planted firmly on the ground now!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back.
I sure have Hostess and it actually feels good to be on solid ground. Got a little touch of seasickness this trip.
DeleteWhat a wonderful holiday! The colour of the Whitsunday seas is just amazing ... even better contrasted with pretty toes :)
ReplyDeleteThree cheers for automatic washing machines ..
Hip Hip Hooray! Totally agree Patricia about automatic machines. How would we survive without them?
DeleteOh Annie, what a difference but welcome back! We wouldn't enjoy holidays so much if we had them all the time :-)
ReplyDeletexx
So true Nellie, holidays are precious and to be enjoyed.
DeleteYes, nothing says "The holiday's over" like a pile of laundry! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteThere really is no escaping dirty laundry is there Sulky, the pile follows wherever we go!
DeleteYep, reality with a bump! But it's not so bad really.
ReplyDeleteHope you got some cracking photos that you can just escape to....and show on here of course.
x
For sure it's lovely to be home again Beth amongst one's treasured belongings.
DeleteYes I took some pics which I'll share on Wednesday.
Welcome home, but I much prefer the first pic too, what a beautiful place.x
ReplyDeleteYes I do too Samantha, much nicer than a washing machine!
DeleteWhat gorgeous coloured water! Any holiday near the ocean is a true break in my opinion. Hope you had a great time and even though the dirty laundry brought you back to reality, a Miele washing machine must make things a little bit easier. We don't have one, but my parents do and it is in its 20th year and still going strong! Any more trips planned? Fifi
ReplyDeleteThe water is a brilliant colour and photos don't do it justice.
DeleteGee I hope my Miele lasts as long! As for trips..hmm..nothing set in stone Fifi but I would love to return to Hong Kong fingers crossed.
That water looks amazing. The water is my happy place. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Annieb! oh I agree wholeheartedly. I couldn't survive living too far from the sea.
DeleteFirst pic = bliss, second not so much!
ReplyDeleteThe Whitsundays would have to be one of the most spectacular places on earth.
TDM xxx
Yes a bit of a contrast in pics TDM!
DeleteOh back to reality indeed. But if you've got to wash clothes, its great to have a Miele - I absolutely LOVE mine to bits. Your little feet look so cute dangling above the water - and what a pretty colour on your toes! xxx
ReplyDeleteThe polish is one of my faves Mrs E. OPI 'An affair in Red Square'
DeleteLove my Miele to bits too!
The photo tells it all Annie,
ReplyDeletewhat more can one wish for. sheer bliss.
Always washing to do on a return from sailing.
So glad that you enjoyed your holiday.
best wishes
val
